If you do not have QuickTime and/or iTunes installed on your system, you may click on the links below to download them. QuickTime and iTunes are available for both Macintosh and Windows. If you are using an Apple Macintosh computer, we recommend that you upgrade your operating system to Mac OS X if you have not already done so. QuickTime versions for Macintosh operating systems earlier than Mac OS X may not work with some of the files on this Web site. You may also encounter problems with Windows operating systems earlier than Windows 98 — but then, if you're still using Windows 98, you've probably encountered a host of problems with it already!
And . . . they're
free!
QuickTime and iTunes take advantage of streaming audio technology. If your browser's plug-ins and/or helper applications are properly configured for QuickTime, the QuickTime player should almost immediately appear on your screen.
(Some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer or later for Windows will not work with Netscape-style plug-ins. If you are using such a browser with Windows, you may be prompted to download a new plug-in from Apple.)
A further note: Due to the wide dynamic range of the music included in these audio files, the level of the softer passages is in some cases somewhat low. Don't be surprised at this . . . just crank up the volume a little!
